We offer competitive salaries. A comprehensive benefits program and paid time off is offered to eligible employees.
Our comprehensive benefits program includes:
Paid Time Off and Holidays
It's important to enjoy a balance between work life and personal interests. That's why eligible employees accrue vacation after six months of employment and personal hours for sick time or bereavement after 90 days. Eligible employees also receive six company-paid holidays annually.
Health, Dental and Vision Benefits
American Pride Co-op pays a portion of the premium cost of medical, dental and vision coverage for eligible employees and their dependents. All regular full-time employees who typically work 32 hours or more per week are eligible for insurance benefits. We provide two health options, a standard PPO or a high deductible PPO with a Health Savings Account (HSA). The HSA allows employees pre-tax savings for health related expenses.
Retirement
We have a defined benefit retirement plan and a voluntary 401(k) program. Employees over age 21 are eligible for these plans after six months of employment.
Dependent Care/Medical Expenses - Flexible Spending Accounts
Our section 125 plan allows for a pre-tax deduction of employee's contributions towards insurance premiums, as well as the opportunity to establish a dependent care account for child care expenses. Employees may also participate in a section 125 medical spending account allowing them to pay for out-of-pocket medical expenses with tax-free dollars.
Disability Coverage and Life Insurance
American Pride Co-op provides long-term and short-term salary continuation benefits to eligible employees. The cost of the long-term plan is paid by the company and the short-term plan is employee paid.
Life insurance and accidental death coverage is available to full-time employees. Whole life, accident, and critical illness plans are also available as supplemental insurance to eligible employees.
